About the Role

We are seeking a skilled HVAC systems serviceman to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, repair, and replacement services on commercial heating and cooling systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on commercial HVAC systems
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with mechanical equipment
  • Partner with Journeymen to repair complex systems, including centrifugal, steam turbines, and absorption machines
  • Work with top-of-the-line technology and equipment to ensure high-quality results
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of commercial and/or industrial mechanical troubleshooting experience in the HVAC industry
  • Ability to commit to a 30-Hour OSHA Certification
  • Computer savvy with good verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to travel throughout the state of South Carolina
Preferred Qualifications
  • Five years of commercial and/or industrial work experience in the HVAC industry
  • Refrigeration Certification
  • EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification
