Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Receptionist to join our team at Kansas Employer. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing exceptional customer service and support to students, faculty, and guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide quality customer service and guidance to visitors and callers, ensuring a positive experience and maintaining the exceptional standard of Kansas Employer.
  • Greet all visitors to the assigned campus, assessing their needs and assisting them in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain effective liaison and communication with other departments and divisions of the college, directing students and visitors to the appropriate resources and locations.
  • Process incoming switchboard calls promptly and with a pleasant voice and positive attitude, transferring calls to the appropriate office or individual with timeliness and accuracy.
  • Assist with tasks such as mailings, packet assembly, and phone campaigns as requested by your supervisor, emphasizing teamwork, courtesy, legal and policy compliance, and workplace safety.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED, required. Associate degree, preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills, written and verbal communication skills, and user-level knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel, required.
  • Ability to prioritize with strong organization skills and an operating knowledge of Student Services software, such as Banner, required within three months of entering the position.
