**Job Summary**


Meadville Medical Center seeks a skilled Surgical Technologist Assistant to join our team.


**Primary Responsibilities:**



  • Assist with operative policies and procedures following AORN and Meadville Medical Center guidelines.
  • Lift and transport patients, providing proper positioning for patients.
  • Provide treatment and maintain patient comfort and safety.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in educational programs to enhance surgical skills and knowledge.

**Requirements:**



  • High school graduate or equivalent required.
  • Ability to lift 20-50 lbs., bend, stoop, and reach frequently.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

**Working Conditions:**


This is a full-time position that requires working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team setting and maintain confidentiality in sensitive situations.
