Position Overview:
The School of STEM within the Mathematics department at Vermont State University is seeking applications for a part-time teaching role. This position involves delivering instruction for the course titled MAT Principles of Math.

Course Description:
This course serves as a comprehensive review of fundamental mathematical principles while introducing essential concepts applicable to solving agricultural and business-related challenges.

Key topics encompass the use of calculators, fundamental algebraic operations, solutions to linear and quadratic equations, geometric principles concerning lines, areas, and volumes, variations, trigonometry of right triangles, growth models, compound interest, debt amortization, probability, and statistics.

The role entails conducting three hours of lectures weekly.

Minimum Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree or higher in Mathematics or equivalent professional experience. Previous teaching experience at the collegiate level is preferred.

Compensation:
Salary will be determined based on previously taught credits in accordance with the VSC-VSCPTF Bargaining Unit Agreement.
