Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team at The Rogers Group. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment, including paint line tanks, forklifts, and other machinery.
  • Conduct daily cleaning and inspection of equipment and facilities to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Remove ice and snow from facilities and equipment as needed.
  • Perform ground maintenance, including weeding, sweeping, and washing buildings and grounds.
  • Grease machinery, automobiles, semi-trucks, and other equipment as required.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on loading docks and garage doors.
  • Inspect and maintain safety equipment, including rooftop HVAC systems.
  • Keep work areas clean, safe, and in compliance with state and federal regulations and company safety policies.
  • Report any injuries, safety violations, or hazard incidents to management immediately.
Requirements
  • High school education and basic math skills.
  • Basic mechanical, electrical, and building knowledge.
  • Ability to read a tape measure and operate a grease gun and power washer.
  • Physical ability to kneel, stoop, crawl, crouch, lift, and work overhead.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Analytical ability to prioritize, multitask, and solve issues that arise.
  • Ability to effectively listen and absorb information to communicate with operators and technicians.
  • Ability to follow direction, continuously improve, and learn.
