Job SummaryUnder direction, supervises Grounds operations for assigned areas, including coordination of labor, contractors, equipment, and supplies. Ensures proper documentation of operating policies and procedures to maintain Getty's landscape.
Key Responsibilities- Manage subordinate employees and oversee horticultural care, ensuring the health and well-being of plants and trees.
- Ensure site maintenance and care, manage projects, and maintain compliance with Getty's standards and regulations.
- Maintain equipment, work with internal clients, and uphold area standards, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
- High School Diploma required, Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Horticulture or a related field desirable.
- Bi-lingual Spanish language skills required, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- 5-7 years experience in landscape maintenance and 2-5 years in supervision, with a proven track record of success.
- Certifications like QAL or QAC pesticide Operators License desirable, demonstrating expertise in horticultural care and management.
- Demonstrated knowledge of landscape management and sustainable practices, with experience in developing and implementing grounds maintenance plans.
- Excellent communication and computer skills, with the ability to manage projects, budgets, and work independently or in a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
