We are seeking a highly skilled On-Call Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at Michigan State University. As a key member of our clinical services team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and conducting sonographic examinations on patients for testing and diagnosis of vascular diseases and disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct sonographic examinations on patients for testing and diagnosis of vascular diseases and disorders
  • Collect and analyze patient data, including medical history and test results
  • Monitor equipment inventory and condition, ensuring proper maintenance and repair
  • Administer tests and interpret results, providing accurate and timely information to physicians for treatment decisions
Requirements
  • Experience in an outpatient vascular lab
  • RDMS current certification
  • One to three years of related work experience in ultrasound examinations
Working Conditions

Exposure to human blood, serum, tissue, and other bodily fluids; materials covered under Universal Precautions; TB risk or working within 3 feet of patients in a health care setting; Covid precautions.
