Position Overview:
The Commercial Transport Operator is accountable for the timely delivery and replenishment of dairy products to various retail and wholesale locations. This role may involve covering different routes as needed.

Required Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent is mandatory.
- A minimum of one year of experience operating a Class A commercial vehicle is essential.
- Candidates must be at least 21 years of age.
- Previous experience in the delivery of food and beverage products, along with customer service skills, is preferred.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, basic math, and accurate data recording is required.
- Ability to work independently is essential.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary.
- Candidates should be organized and detail-oriented.
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts is required.

Physical Requirements:
- The role necessitates frequent standing, walking, kneeling, reaching, climbing, pulling, and bending.
- Candidates must be capable of lifting over 60 pounds and pushing/pulling up to 300 pounds using a hand-held hook.

Licenses and Certifications:
- A valid Class A commercial driver's license with an Air Brake endorsement is required, along with a Medical Examiner's Certificate as per FMCSA regulations.

Work Environment:
- The position involves working in varying climates, both indoors and outdoors, including on refrigerated vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
- Safely load, unload, and deliver products to each designated account.
- Operate the truck along established routes to deliver, stock, and arrange products at customer locations.
- Set up promotional displays and deliver marketing materials to clients.
- Ensure accuracy of shipments and verify the salable condition of products.
- Address discrepancies and customer concerns effectively.
- Collect empty containers and unsold merchandise for return.
- Complete daily inventory, orders, delivery invoices, and proof of delivery as required.
- Conduct Motor Vehicle Inspections on the truck to comply with DOT regulations and assist with routine vehicle maintenance.
- Demonstrate professionalism towards customers, collaborate effectively with colleagues and supervisors, maintain a neat appearance, and adhere to company policies and management directives.
- Maintain vehicle and hours of service logs as mandated by DOT regulations.
- Ensure reliable attendance and consistent work hours.
