Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Ascension St. Vincent in Indiana. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of radiographic procedures to diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately to ensure high-quality images.
  • Implement radiation protection and safety standards to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, and dressing rooms.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date required.
  • Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Indiana Medical Radiology Services Program within 6 months of hire date required.
  • One or more of the following certifications required: Cardiographic Tech, Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography, or Medical Sonographer.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years post-school hospital experience.
  • ARRT CT certification required.
  • Cardiac CT training preferred.
