About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at the Hospice of Muskegon County. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals and their families in need of hospice services.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled professional nursing care to patients and their families in accordance with the physician's orders and established regulations.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and social needs, and develop individualized care plans to address these needs.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on disease management, symptom control, and end-of-life care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and progress.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current state of Michigan Registered Nurse License.
- Certification in hospice and palliative care preferred.
- Possesses and maintains a current CPR certification.
- Maintains a valid Michigan driver's license and has access to a reliable, licensed and insured vehicle for use on the job.
