Key Responsibilities- Administer and record vaccines, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Document verbal conversations with patients, maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
- Accurately and efficiently document patient information into the electronic medical record.
- Maintain a smooth patient flow, ensuring timely and efficient care.
- Prepare patients for visits, adhering to office and provider requirements.
- Collect patient specimens, such as urine and blood samples, as directed by the provider.
- Enter orders accurately and timely into the laboratory system.
- Perform clinical office procedures, including PFTs, EKGs, nebulizers, medication administration, and immunizations, as directed by the provider.
- Process patient prescriptions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Discuss test results with patients, following provider instructions.
- Valid NYS LPN license.
- Previous LPN experience in a medical practice or prior experience as a Medical Assistant or Patient Care Tech.
- Strong computer skills, including experience with electronic medical records (EMRs).
- Knowledge of basic nursing principles and protocols.
- Understanding of policies and procedures related to infection control, environmental safety, and patient confidentiality.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion.
- Knowledge of medical chart reporting and records.
- Skill in appropriate assessment and assistance techniques.
