Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist II to join our Diagnostic Imaging team at NorthShore University HealthSystem. As an MRI Technologist II, you will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI exams, preparing patients for exams, and ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI exams for diagnostic purposes, adhering to departmental standards and policies.
- Prepare patients for exams, obtaining and recording medical history, explaining procedures, and positioning patients for optimal imaging.
- Review MRI images to ensure high-quality results and assist with patient/family participation in post-procedural care.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
Requirements:
- ARRT- MR certification and a minimum of 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist.
- Associate's degree in Radiology from an accredited program or equivalent experience.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
- CPR certification and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
