This role will necessitate a visit to the facilities for a duration of three days, with the possibility of extending for an additional day if required. The remaining audit tasks can be executed remotely.
- Proven experience in the automotive manufacturing or logistics sector is essential.
- Conduct thorough audits of inventory and distribution operations to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory guidelines.
- Validate the accuracy of inventory counts and address any discrepancies.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and propose enhancements.
- Generate comprehensive audit reports that include findings, recommendations, and actionable plans.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in internal auditing.
- Certification as a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
- In-depth knowledge of logistics, inventory management systems, and distribution processes.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with Oracle E-Business Suite (Oracle EBS) and AuditBoard is preferred but not mandatory.
- Willingness to travel for 1 to 2 days; must be a US Citizen.
- Competitive hourly rate ranging from $60 to $70, with Direct Deposit.
- Full-time, 6+-month contract position with comprehensive Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401K benefits as a W-2 employee.
