Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at Civita Care Center at Long Ridge. This is a full-time, PRN or temp-contract position that offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient care and rehabilitation outcomes.


About the Role

The PTA will work in our skilled nursing facility providing exceptional, personalized care to patients. The role involves implementing care and interventions to improve patients' mobility through exercise, massage, gait and balance training, and other therapeutic interventions.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to enhance patients' physical abilities and well-being.
  • Provide exercise instruction and demonstrate empathy to ensure patients feel comfortable and supported throughout their rehabilitation journey.
  • Document treatment outcomes to track progress and inform future treatment decisions.

Requirements
  • An active state Physical Therapist Assistant license is required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • A strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and achieving positive rehabilitation outcomes.
