We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team as a Mobile Nuclear Medicine Imaging Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a reputable organization in the field of nuclear medicine.

About the Role:

  • As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using radioactive materials.
  • You will work closely with patients, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine the most appropriate imaging procedures
  • Operate and maintain complex equipment, including gamma cameras and PET scanners
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other medical staff to interpret images and make diagnoses
  • Develop and implement protocols for radiation safety and quality control

Requirements:

  • Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) or Registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT)
  • Experience working with positron emission tomography (PET) and single-photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) scans
  • Strong understanding of radiation safety principles and regulations

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience
