Job Summary

We are seeking reliable and experienced Armed Security Officers to become an integral part of our team at Sentry Force Security LLC. These armed security officers will patrol and secure assigned premises as well as identify risks to staff and patrons.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules and regulations
  • Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security
  • Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
  • Apprehend or expel persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
  • Report any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes
  • Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations
Requirements
  • Strong candidates will have their Virginia Armed DCJS License (Training is available if other requirements are met)
  • Highly preferred 2 years of armed security, military, law enforcement, or corrections experience
  • Must be capable of meeting physical requirements such as standing, walking, climbing stairs, running, physically restraining a violent person, lifting objects weighing up to 50lbs
  • Strong attention to detail
  • First Aid and CPR/AED certified
Work Environment

Armed Security Officers will work in various locations throughout Northern Virginia, including Alexandria, Manassas, Fredericksburg, Fairfax, and Hospital Locations. The work schedule will vary depending on the location and client requirements.
