Job Summary

As a Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist at Providence Health & Service, you will play a vital role in assisting cardiologists and radiologists in the performance of interventional angiographic and therapeutic procedures for patients of all ages. This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires a high level of technical skill and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the performance of interventional angiographic and therapeutic procedures
  • Image, monitor, or scrub assist for physicians during procedures
  • Maintain a safe and quality patient environment
  • Stay up-to-date with required competencies and continuing education

Requirements
  • Formal training in radiology procedures or equivalent education/experience
  • California Radiologic Technologist upon hire
  • National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire
  • National Registered Technologist - Cardiac-Interventional Radiography within 1 year of hire or National Registered Technologist - Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiography within 1 year of hire or National Registered Technologist - Vascular-Interventional Radiography within 1 year of hire or National Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist - Cardiovascular Credentialing International within 1 year of hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire

Preferred Qualifications
  • Participation in continuing education program
  • 2 years experience in a special procedures or Cardiovascular Lab
