Reporting directly to the Logistics Manager, the Shipping and Receiving Coordinator plays a crucial role in maintaining precise inventory management and resolving any product shipment discrepancies. Key Responsibilities of a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator:
  • Unload incoming shipments and verify the accuracy of received products.
  • Receive, unpack, and prepare merchandise for display on the sales floor.
  • Implement price changes and adhere to daily merchandising directives.
  • Process store supplies, manage damages, and ensure compliance with inventory management protocols.
  • Collaborate with Retail Department Supervisors to address product shipment issues, execute directives, set merchandising standards, and return unsellable items to vendors.
Qualifications for a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator:
  • Preferred experience of 2+ years in retail fulfillment, replenishment, stocking, merchandising, distribution, or a related field.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, climb ladders, and lift up to 30 lbs. overhead.
  • Flexibility to work varied retail schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
