Overview:
Position Objective:
The role of our nursing professionals is to support both diagnostic and therapeutic procedures conducted in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, with opportunities for cross-training in the Electrophysiology Lab.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Evaluate, plan, implement, and assess patient care.
2. Oversee and coordinate care delivered by Licensed Practical Nurses and Patient Care Assistants.
3. Ensure effective communication among physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
Work Schedule:
0.8 FTE, day shifts
Availability for on-call duties during weekdays and weekends is required.
Must reside within a 20-minute radius of the Medical Center while on call.
Essential Qualifications:
Current Registered Nurse license in Iowa
Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
Strong background in cardiac care is highly desirable.
