Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat mental health disorders in children and adolescents, utilizing evidence-based practices and staying up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with patients and their families, taking into account their unique needs and circumstances.
  • Provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and therapy sessions, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, sharing knowledge and expertise to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
Requirements
  • CT license (B/C or B/E certification)
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in child psychiatry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
