Job Summary:
Liberty HomeCare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the well-being of our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide quality nursing care to patients, following physician orders and facility policies.
- Administer medications as ordered by physicians and according to facility policies.
- Lead, guide, and supervise nursing assistants and orderlies.
- Assist physicians with rounds and physical examinations as needed.
- Perform treatments scheduled during shifts and document appropriately.
- Maintain infection control measures and adhere to regulations related to cleanliness and Standard/Universal Precautions.
- Assist with research related to quality of nursing care and assist with records, orders, and assessment of new admissions.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse, graduated from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing and proof of license renewal every other year.
- Provide quality-nursing care to patients, follow doctor orders, and have a genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
- CPR certified yearly.
- Attend in-service training and other staff meetings as required.
- Ability to supervise nursing assistants and work well with all nursing personnel, other departments, and patients, families, doctors, and others.
