Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team at White Deer Run - Allenwood. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to patients in our adult addiction treatment program.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough physical assessments of patients to identify potential health risks and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on medication management, addiction recovery, and overall wellness.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and guidelines in addiction medicine and behavioral health.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with a strong background in addiction medicine and behavioral health.
  • Previous experience working in a behavioral health setting, preferably in an addiction treatment program.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Current licensure to practice in the state of Pennsylvania and DEA licensure.
