Rumpke Waste and Recycling is seeking a skilled Rear Load Driver Non-CDL to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for collecting and hauling waste or recycling materials to a disposal site or recycling plant.

This role requires extensive physical exertion and frequent entry/exit of the truck throughout the day. You will also be responsible for operating the truck in a safe manner, complying with local, state, and federal regulations, and company policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate truck in a safe and efficient manner
  • Collect and haul waste or recycling materials
  • Deliver trash or recycling containers as needed
  • Replace trash/recycling receptacles neatly at the curb or designated area
  • Clean up waste spills and overflows
  • Maintain and update route & driver log sheets
  • Conduct pre-trip/post trip inspections and complete logs
  • Provide excellent customer service

Requirements:

  • Valid DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain prior to hire
  • Must be at least 19 years of age
  • No more than 3 moving violations within the last 2 years
  • Must not have any DUI's or OVI's within the last 5 years or 2 in the last 10 years
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and/or holidays
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States
  • Valid driver's license (if applicable)
