About the Internship

We are seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as interns in audit and tax. As an intern at FORVIS Mazars, you will gain valuable experience and exposure to a variety of industries, working alongside our senior staff and management personnel.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct audit testing on financial statement accounts, including cash, accounts payable, and fixed assets
  • Work with client personnel to reconcile account differences and analyze financial data
  • Draft management letter comments and the audit report
  • Participate in client meetings alongside FORVIS Mazars partners and managers
Requirements
  • Solid technical accounting knowledge
  • Effective time management
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to work well with a team and independently
  • Problem-solving attitude
  • Willingness to take initiative
  • Close attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and against deadlines
  • Intern candidates must be working toward an accounting degree and CPA exam eligibility
