Night Sanitation Technician

This role involves ensuring a hygienic and secure environment within a facility or warehouse. The position requires adherence to Preferred Work Methods (PWM) while executing tasks.
Shift Details:
Sunday to Thursday, 7:00 PM to 3:30 AM, including a 30-minute break.
Key Responsibilities:
- Eliminate all waste and litter from warehouse and loading dock areas.
- Address any product spills or foreign substances promptly.
- Utilize warehouse equipment such as power scrubbers and walk-behind sweepers.
- Maintain cleanliness of warehouse surfaces including walls, floors, and storage racks.
- Ensure the facility's exterior, including grounds and parking areas, is kept tidy.
- Sanitize restrooms, offices, break rooms, and locker facilities.
- Follow the sanitation schedule as directed by the supervisor to uphold a consistent cleaning regimen.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
Experience: Prior experience in sanitation within a warehouse setting is highly desirable.
Physical Requirements:
The physical demands outlined are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
While executing job duties, the employee is regularly required to communicate effectively. Frequent use of hands and fingers with precision is necessary to handle objects and tools.
Employees may be required to stand, walk, sit, reach, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, and utilize senses such as taste and smell.
Ability to lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds is essential.
Specific vision capabilities include close vision, distance vision, color perception, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
