Holiday Automotive is seeking a skilled Automotive Reconditioning Specialist to join our team. As a Reconditioning Tech, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our used vehicles. Your attention to detail and ability to diagnose and repair vehicle systems will be essential in preparing vehicles for sale as used or Certified Pre-Owned vehicles across our campus.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and prepare used vehicles for sale, adhering to documented vehicle inspection standards
  • Recommend necessary and suggested repairs and maintenance for each vehicle
  • Perform approved repairs efficiently and in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards
  • Test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair all vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, climate, computer, and electronics

Qualifications:

  • A diligent work ethic and upbeat attitude are essential for success in this role
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Automotive Technician
  • Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
  • Fast learner with a problem-solving attitude
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to learn new technology and procedures
  • Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
