Host/Hostess Opportunity at One Bistro

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Host/Hostess to join our team at One Bistro, a critically acclaimed upscale casual dining restaurant located in the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel & Conference Center in Norwood, MA.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet guests as they enter and seat them, providing menus and answering initial questions.
  • Assign guests to tables while considering table rotation to ensure servers receive the right number of customers.
  • Answer phone calls, take reservations, and respond to inquiries.
  • Assist with other positions in the restaurant as needed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and work collaboratively as a team player.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to provide top-notch customer service in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Able to work in a standing position for extended periods.
  • Willingness to follow instructions and ask questions for clarification when needed.
  • Able to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system.
  • Able to work in a busy restaurant environment.
  • Restaurant experience a plus.
Compensation and Benefits:

The hiring range for this position is $15 to $18.32 per hour. The final salary offer will vary based on individual education, skills, and experience. The position is eligible to participate in FM Global's comprehensive Total Rewards program, which includes an incentive plan, career development opportunities, flexible work, free meals, and Sheraton/Marriott employee discounts at participating hotels.
