Overview:
Soliant Education is in search of a committed and knowledgeable Special Education Teacher for a full-time resource role. This position emphasizes providing small group pull-out instruction aimed at assisting students in meeting their Individualized Education Program (IEP) objectives. The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency in delivering focused instruction and supporting a diverse range of special needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct instruction to small groups of students within a resource environment.
- Design and execute individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's specific goals and requirements.
- Provide targeted assistance and interventions to facilitate student progress towards their IEP objectives.
- Collaborate with general education instructors and other educational personnel to foster student success and integration.
- Assess and monitor student performance, adjusting instructional methods as necessary.
- Maintain comprehensive and precise records of student advancement, and engage in regular communication with parents and guardians.
- Establish a positive and inclusive educational atmosphere that encourages both academic and personal development.
Qualifications:
- Valid state certification and licensure in Special Education.
- Experience in working with small groups and providing individualized instruction in a special education context.
- Strong capability in developing and managing IEPs effectively.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Experience with behavioral management and intervention techniques is advantageous.
