  • Report patient signalment, problem list, and plan during nursing rounds, ensuring seamless communication with the veterinary team.
  • Calculate basic medical math with precision and accuracy.
  • Understand and apply knowledge of commonly used medications, their side effects, and therapeutic responses.
  • Administer medications via appropriate routes and durations, prioritizing patient safety and comfort.
  • Perform phlebotomy with care and attention to detail.
  • Triage and obtain patient history, utilizing your exceptional communication skills.
  • Assist clinicians with diagnostic procedures, ensuring accurate and timely results.
  • Patient care, including treatments, is a top priority, and you will be responsible for preparing prescriptions and communicating discharge orders to clients.
Requirements:
  • Proficient in diagnostic testing and laboratory procedures.
  • Strong understanding of veterinary pharmacology and internal medicine.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:

Education & Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a veterinary clinic or hospital, with a focus on internal medicine.
  • Veterinary Certification preferred.
