Job Summary:

We're seeking a highly skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. As a Master of Demolition Machinery, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of construction. You'll be responsible for diagnosing complex issues, executing precision repairs, and ensuring our equipment operates at peak performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and Repair: Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and emission issues with our fleet of heavy equipment.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot computer and wiring problems with equipment, using your technical expertise to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Inspections and Preventive Maintenance: Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure our machines stand strong against the test of time.
  • Equipment Rebuilds: Handle equipment teardowns and rebuilds for mobilization, breathing new life into our mechanical warriors.
Requirements:
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of recent experience or training in vehicle/construction equipment repair and maintenance.
  • Mechanical Expertise: Proficiency in diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, demonstrating your mastery of the craft.
  • Hydraulic Specialist: Expertise in operating diagnostic equipment and troubleshooting hydraulic systems, harnessing the power of fluid dynamics.
  • Welding and Fabrication: Strong welding and fabrication skills, including acetylene and electric arc welding, forging metal with precision.
  • Physical Endurance: Ability to lift objects weighing up to 60 pounds and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Effective Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ensuring seamless collaboration with project teams.
