Job Title: Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery

Epic Travel Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery to join our team in Baltimore, Maryland.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery to provide exceptional patient care in a dynamic Labor and Delivery environment. As a Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, collaborating with the healthcare team, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to Labor and Delivery patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Participate in charge nurse and preceptor duties, including mentoring and educating new staff members.
  • Float to Mom/Baby and participate in Charge and Precepting duties.
  • Attend high-risk deliveries, LDRP, high-risk antepartum, High Risk LD, Level II transition nursery, 32 weeks, couplet care.
Requirements:
  • MD/Compact license
  • 1.5 years experience in Labor and Delivery within the past 3 years
  • Charge nurse and preceptor experience
  • NCC-EFM certificate in hand
  • Requires Circulate and Scrub
  • AHA BLS
  • AHA ACLS
  • NIHSS
  • NRP
  • STABLE
  • Prior travel
  • Cerner
  • Proficient in sterile vaginal exams
  • Baby Friendly hospital experience highly preferred
