About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Strip Crew Member to join our team at Peckham Industries. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for the disassembly and removal of precast concrete pieces from casting forms each night.

Key Responsibilities
  • Remove tarps and curing blankets from precast concrete pieces
  • Disassemble wooden and steel formwork
  • Operate overhead cranes, torches, demo saws, and other tools as part of the disassembly process
  • Complete basic finishing and detailing of precast concrete pieces
  • Cleanup of casting forms and work areas
Requirements
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or construction environment
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Legal right to work in the U.S.
Work Environment

This position works indoors in a construction environment with heavy work that includes moving objects up to 50 lb. or more. The role requires the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time as well as lifting, pulling, bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing, walking, reaching, driving, and repetitive motion.
