Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Inspect equipment and components to identify potential issues and prevent downtime.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and branch staff to ensure timely and efficient service.
  • Complete service tickets according to company procedures and standards.
  • Manage inventory and maintain a well-stocked service vehicle.
  • Ensure all company vehicles, tools, and uniforms are maintained to Tech24 standards.
  • Set a positive example for less experienced technicians and promote a culture of excellence within the company.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, particularly those related to safety.
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • 3-5 years of experience in commercial HVAC and refrigeration repair.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Standard computer skills and the ability to learn new technologies.
  • Industry-standard hand tools and the ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and crawl in tight spaces.
  • Ability to travel extensively within the region and work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn new techniques and approaches.
  • Universal EPA certification is highly preferred.
