Job Title: Audiovisual Technician

At Great Hire Staffing, we're seeking a skilled Audiovisual Technician to join our team. As an AV Technician, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining audiovisual equipment in commercial settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and test audiovisual equipment, including projectors, displays, microphones, and speakers.
  • Pull wire and provide structural mounting of equipment.
  • Install equipment racks and control panels.
  • Connect and terminate cables and wire.
  • Troubleshoot systems, equipment, and wire fails.
  • Track and enter information such as serial numbers, IP addresses, and location of equipment.
  • Ensure client sites are clean and organized.
  • Follow job site safety and general rules.
  • Compile daily work reports.
  • May be required to take after-hours phone calls.
  • Attend job site meetings when requested.
  • Travel when necessary, including overnight and evening work.
  • Occasionally receive and ship inventory.
  • Operate a forklift (will certify if needed).
  • Log time and attendance in company systems.

Requirements:

  • Experience with audiovisual installation and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of audiovisual cables, switchers, routers, and connectors.
  • Soldering experience.
  • Basic mechanical, carpentry, or construction skills.
  • Basic knowledge of Windows/MS Office.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Strong communication and exchange of information skills.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Professional presence on job sites, with customers, and at the home office.

Work Schedule: 8:00am-4:30pm (OT may be required)

Salary: $25/hr
