Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our team at Haul USA. As a solo driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to various locations across the country, ensuring timely and safe transportation of cargo.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a tractor-trailer combination vehicle to transport goods from one location to another.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant federal and state regulations, including hours of service, weight limits, and safety standards.
  • Load and unload cargo, using proper lifting techniques to avoid injury.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
  • Class A CDL with a valid endorsement for the type of cargo being transported.
  • At least 9 months of experience as a Class A CDL driver within the past 3 years, or 2 years of experience within the past 5 years, or 5 years of experience within the past 10 years.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
  • Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
  • Pass a DOT physical.
  • Pass a Ryder road test.
