  • Monitor and report on the health and behavior of animals
  • Provide support during emergency situations
  • Keep detailed records and documentation
Required Skills
  • Experience as an Animal Care Technician or in a similar role
  • Administrative experience is beneficial
  • Previous pet ownership is an asset
  • Strong communication abilities
  • Empathetic and nurturing demeanor
  • Capability to follow instructions accurately
  • Comfortable working with various pets (dogs and cats)
  • Physical stamina to meet job demands (e.g., lifting up to 40 lbs)
  • Willingness to work during emergencies as needed
  • Certification from a Veterinary Assistant program is advantageous
