Job Summary

The Trauma Clinician is a skilled nurse who plays a vital role in promoting optimal trauma care and providing guidance to patients and their families throughout their hospital stay at KPC Global Medical Centers Inc. This individual collaborates with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care, focusing on advanced clinical practice, quality improvement, and education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert clinical care to trauma patients, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Design and deliver educational programs to promote best practices in trauma care and patient safety.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and maintain policies and procedures related to trauma care.
  • Participate in peer review and performance improvement activities to ensure high-quality patient care.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in ER/ICU/Trauma care required.
  • Current CA RN license.
  • Current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications.
  • CEN or CCRN certification (recommended).
  • TNCC or ATCN, PALS certification within 6 months of hire.
