WORK LOCATIONS:
Various locations available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver professional nursing care to patients in accordance with established standards and practices.
  • Administer chemotherapy and other therapeutic medications.
  • Ensure efficient patient flow within the clinic.
  • Facilitate dose adjustments by evaluating patient conditions and lab results, consulting treatment protocols, calculating dosages, and discussing modifications with physicians.
  • Maintain accurate nursing charges on billing tickets.
  • Serve as a resource for Medical Assistants and Licensed Practical Nurses.
  • Triaging patient inquiries as necessary and documenting pertinent information in patient records.
  • Assess patient and family needs, providing educational materials and community resource information.
  • Participate in cross-training opportunities within collaborative nursing areas.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
  • Current licensure and registration in Minnesota required.
  • Current or pending OCN certification preferred.
  • Current CPR certification required.
  • 2-3 years of nursing experience, particularly with IV therapy preferred.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications is essential.

Physical Requirements include:
- Full range of body motion, including patient handling and lifting.
- Manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
- Standing and walking for extended periods.
- Occasional lifting of items weighing up to 40 lbs.
- Corrected vision and hearing within normal ranges.
