The Clinical Nurse Specialist in Internal Medicine is tasked with providing exceptional medical services to a varied patient demographic. This role requires both independent practice and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to guarantee accurate care, diagnosis, and treatment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Performs thorough physical assessments and gathers detailed health histories
  • Requests essential therapies and diagnostic tests
  • Facilitates pre-operative evaluations and discharge assessments
  • Manages an average caseload of 10-16 patient consultations daily
  • Available for on-call responsibilities as needed
  • Undertakes additional duties as required
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
  • Master's degree in a relevant discipline
  • Current State of Florida APRN License
  • DEA registration for medication prescribing
  • A minimum of 2 years of pertinent experience
  • Preferred 2 years of experience in adult primary care
  • Excellent decision-making and communication abilities
