Residential Instructor

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Instructor to join our team at Community Residences. As a Residential Instructor, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and supportive environment for our clients, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with our interdisciplinary team.
2. Provide direct care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities, medication administration, and behavioral interventions.
3. Monitor and report any changes in client behavior, medical conditions, or physical changes to our supervisory team.
4. Assist with household chores, meal preparation, and laundry duties.
5. Supervise family visitation and participate in community-based outings and recreational activities.
6. Participate in mandatory training and in-services to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Valid CT driver's license and good driving record.
• Physical Management Training (PMT) certification and First Aid, CPR, and Medication Certification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
