Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Travel Registered Nurse to join our team at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. As a Travel Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Responsibilities
  • Certification Requirements
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
    • Specific certifications may be required for certain units within the facility.
  • Job Details
    • The patient population varies, and you will be assigned to different units based on the needs of the hospital.
    • You will be required to float every shift, and your schedules will be determined by the hospital's staffing needs.
    • The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:6.
    • A minimum of 2 years of experience is required.
    • We consider first-time travelers for this position.
    • You will be required to work every other weekend.
    • You will not be required to be on-call.
    • You will be expected to float within your scope to meet the facility's needs.
    • We may consider accommodating block schedules based on the needs of the unit.
    • Locals are accepted for this position.
    • Pending licenses are not accepted.
    • We will discuss RTO restrictions at the time of interview, and some holiday work may be expected if contracted over the holidays.
    • You will be guaranteed 36 hours of work per week.
    • Cerner experience is preferred, and experience in a hospital of similar size and acuity (academic medical center, level 1 trauma center, etc.) is also preferred.
