About the Opportunity

We are seeking a part-time or full-time Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at Aligned Orthopedic Partners. As an OT Assistant, you will work closely with occupational therapists to provide customized rehabilitation programs for patients with orthopedic injuries.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a hand therapy setting, especially with postoperative patients, and be skilled in fabricating custom splints for patients. A degree from an accredited CAPTE school and active licensure in Maryland, Virginia, or Washington DC are required. If not licensed, the ability to obtain licensure is necessary.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with occupational therapists to develop individualized rehabilitation plans for patients.
  • Assist with providing follow-up care, custom splinting, and co-treatments as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with support staff and patient service coordinators to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team. Experience with splint fabrication and hand therapy is highly desirable. A strong commitment to patient satisfaction and a positive attitude towards continuous learning are essential.
