Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate effectively with engineers and fellow survey professionals on civil and site development, transportation design, and construction endeavors.
  • Engage in diverse projects including roadways, airports, railways, drainage systems, and site development.
  • Oversee and direct the activities of field crews.
  • Evaluate boundary research and field surveys, including route and property surveys, as well as ALTA/NSPS surveys.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficient in the principles and tools of computer-aided drafting.
  • Understanding of civil engineering principles, construction specifications, and relevant regulations.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific safety practices.
  • Ability to manage office operations efficiently, prioritize tasks, and maintain positive relationships with staff and clients.
  • Willingness to travel locally within a 300-mile radius.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license is mandatory.

Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Must hold a valid Professional Land Surveyor license.
  • Licensure in Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan is preferred, or the capability to obtain licensure in these states within six months of employment.
  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience is preferred.

Physical Demands:
  • Must be able to travel to various project locations.
  • Ability to access and navigate job sites and construction areas.
  • Capability to operate motorized equipment.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying field conditions.
