Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate effectively with engineers and fellow survey professionals on civil and site development, transportation design, and construction endeavors.
- Engage in diverse projects including roadways, airports, railways, drainage systems, and site development.
- Oversee and direct the activities of field crews.
- Evaluate boundary research and field surveys, including route and property surveys, as well as ALTA/NSPS surveys.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficient in the principles and tools of computer-aided drafting.
- Understanding of civil engineering principles, construction specifications, and relevant regulations.
- Familiarity with industry-specific safety practices.
- Ability to manage office operations efficiently, prioritize tasks, and maintain positive relationships with staff and clients.
- Willingness to travel locally within a 300-mile radius.
- Possession of a valid driver's license is mandatory.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Must hold a valid Professional Land Surveyor license.
- Licensure in Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan is preferred, or the capability to obtain licensure in these states within six months of employment.
- A minimum of three years of relevant experience is preferred.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to travel to various project locations.
- Ability to access and navigate job sites and construction areas.
- Capability to operate motorized equipment.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying field conditions.
Compensation:
