MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Michigan City, Indiana.

As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue. Your duties will include positioning patients for CT scans, setting equipment controls, and assisting radiologists with imaging procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary
  • Appropriately set the controls of the related equipment, monitoring equipment and patient, making adjustments as necessary
  • Assist radiologists with imaging procedures, starting IVs, and injecting contrast, if applicable
  • Dispense oral contrast to patients for CT scans
  • Assist radiologists with interventional CT procedures
  • Evaluate CT scans for technical quality, collate processed images in sequence of exposure, and label appropriately
  • Schedule patients for procedures and assist with some clerical functions
  • Charge procedures and supplies used to the patient record
  • Load and operate power injections for contrast media administration
  • Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner
  • Work effectively to maintain an environment of excellence, which is patient-focused, providing timely, compassionate, quality patient care
  • Promote and maintain a safe work environment for both staff and customers, incorporating national patient safety initiatives
