Overview:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting. This role involves working under the guidance of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician to ensure the well-being of residents of all ages.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure the health, comfort, and safety of residents.
2. Assist in the assessment of residents and administer medications or treatments as prescribed.
3. Document interactions and outcomes related to resident care.
4. Foster effective working relationships with residents and healthcare professionals.
5. Maintain clear communication and confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
6. Provide counseling to residents and their families on preventive measures and treatment plans.
7. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program or possess an Associate degree in practical nursing.
- Hold an unencumbered LPN or RN license with the State Nursing Board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.
- Complete required annual continuing education units (CEUs) and competency training as mandated by the department and facility.
