Job Summary

**Job Title:** Machinist III

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Machinist III to join our team at Waukesha Foundry. As a key member of our Machine Shop department, you will be responsible for programming and operating machine tools to produce high-quality parts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement machine programs for 2-axis lathes and mills using Gibbs Cam Programming.
  • Collaborate with Design Engineers and Quality Personnel to ensure parts meet dimensional requirements and quality standards.
  • Manage consumable inventory to prevent delays in upcoming orders.
  • Troubleshoot issues with other operators and ensure adherence to machine shop schedule.

Requirements:

  • High School education or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 10 years programming experience preferred.
  • Proficient with CAD/CAM software and basic understanding of GD&T.
  • Good math skills required.
  • Interest and willingness to learn.
  • Positive outlook and a wide comfort zone a must.

Working Conditions:

This is a 2nd shift position, working Tuesday through Friday from 2pm to Midnight.
