Job Title: Counselor III

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Counselor III to join our team at LifeView Group. As a Counselor III, you will be responsible for providing advanced knowledge and expertise in the field of Human Services, exercising discretion and independent judgment in providing high-quality client-centered therapeutic services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and develop treatment plans for clients with mental health, substance abuse, and co-occurring disorders.
  • Provide individualized, integrated mental health, substance abuse, and co-occurring services to meet the needs of individuals served and their families.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop safety plans to mitigate potential harm.
  • Document all interactions and interventions in accordance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in psychology, social work, counseling, rehabilitation, or a related human services field.
  • Active Florida license as LCSW, LMHC, LMFT.
  • At least two years' experience working with adults who have mental health, substance abuse, and/or co-occurring disorders or developmental disabilities.
  • Ability to pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings as appropriate.
  • Valid driver's license from the state in which you reside, a good driving record, and be insurable under the corporate policy.
