Varsity Field Hockey Instructor

We are seeking a qualified Varsity Field Hockey Instructor to join our team at South Hunterdon Regional School District. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for field hockey and a desire to inspire the next generation of athletes.

This full-time position involves coaching and mentoring student-athletes in the sport of field hockey, as well as developing their skills and character. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, managing game-day operations, and maintaining a safe and supportive team environment.

• A valid New Jersey Department of Education (NJ DOE) Teaching Certificate or NJ Substitute Teacher Certificate is required for this role.
• Candidates must have at least 60 college credits, which can be verified through official transcripts.

Experience in athletics and coaching, particularly in field hockey, is highly desirable. A strong understanding of the sport's principles and techniques, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills, will make a candidate more competitive for this position.

The estimated salary for this position ranges between $50,000 and $70,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Additional benefits may include health insurance, retirement planning, and opportunities for professional development.
