We are currently seeking a qualified Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our team for a local contract nursing position.
Job Responsibilities:
As an Emergency Room RN, you will be responsible for:
- Triage, assess, and provide treatment to patients of varying ages.
- Establish expected outcomes tailored to individual patient needs and circumstances.
- Formulate care plans that outline strategies and alternatives to achieve desired health outcomes.
- Manage multiple patient cases concurrently, delivering comprehensive nursing care while prioritizing patient needs.
- Offer follow-up care instructions and make necessary referrals for ongoing patient care.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians and other hospital departments, maintaining a patient-centered and safety-conscious approach.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- A minimum of 1 year of recent experience in an acute care setting as an ER RN.
- A valid Registered Nurse license in the State of Florida or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to employment.
- An Associate Degree or Registered Nurse Diploma.
- Current BLS certification prior to employment start date.
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification within 90 days of employment.
- ACLS certification or ACLS Instructor certification within 90 days of employment.
- PALS certification or PALS Instructor certification within 90 days of employment.
