Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurse Job Summary

Atrium Health Charlotte is seeking a skilled Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurse to join our team. As a Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to children with cancer and blood disorders. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, provide education to patients and families, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to children with cancer and blood disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
  • Provide education to patients and families on disease management, treatment options, and self-care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate care and communicate effectively
Requirements:
  • Current RN license in the state of North Carolina
  • BSN degree or higher
  • Experience working with pediatric hematology/oncology patients
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
